Who we are

CAD-Flow ("we", "us") is a plugin and cloud asset library for AutoCAD. This policy covers the marketing site at cad-flow.com, the beta portal at beta.cad-flow.com, and the plugin that runs inside AutoCAD. If anything here is unclear, email hello@cad-flow.com and a person will answer.

What we collect

• Account details — your name, email address, and optionally your studio name, when you sign up for the beta.
• Your licence key — issued at sign-up and tied to your account, so the plugin can authenticate you.
• Basic diagnostics — the plugin version, your AutoCAD version, and error reports, so we can fix what breaks.
• Feedback you send — only when you run CADFLOWFEEDBACK in the plugin: the message and the screenshot you choose to attach.
• Service logs — because the library streams from the cloud, our servers record which assets a licensed account requests, to operate and improve the library.

We do not collect the contents of your drawings. Blocks and 3D assets are delivered to your machine; what you do with them in your DWG stays on your machine.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
• We don't run third-party advertising or behavioural ad-tracking on the site.
• We don't read your drawing files or upload them to the cloud.

How we use it

To run the service: to authenticate your licence, stream the assets you request, keep the library current, respond to your feedback, and fix bugs. During the beta we also use aggregate usage — which categories are searched and placed most — to decide what to draft next. That analysis is about the library, not about you.

Where your data lives

Accounts, licence keys and the asset catalogue are hosted on Supabase, our cloud infrastructure provider, which acts as a data processor on our behalf. The site caches your branding preferences in your browser's local storage so the header paints instantly on repeat visits — that never leaves your device.

How long we keep it

We keep account details for as long as your account is active. Diagnostics and service logs are retained only as long as they're useful for support and improving the library, then discarded. If you close your account, we delete your personal details within 30 days, except where we're required to keep limited records.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold, correct it, or delete it — just email hello@cad-flow.com from the address on your account and we'll take care of it. You can clear the branding cache any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Payments

The beta is free, so we currently take no payment details. When paid plans launch at general release, card processing will be handled by a dedicated payment provider — we won't store full card numbers ourselves — and this policy will be updated to name them before that happens.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and, for anything material, tell beta users directly. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
